“SCOTCH” liquor tag / label sterling silver w/ foliate flourishes

Offered for sale by Caspar’s Place is
a heavy, sterling silver liquor label or tag
by an unknown maker.
Its shape is interesting, and it is decorated with bold foliate flourishes.
It is attached to a chain which drapes over the neck of a liquor bottle or decanter.
“SCOTCH” is done in a fancy machine engraved script.
The tag simply marked with “STERLING.”
This liquor label is in good estate condition, although
with the patina of old tarnish and fine scratches to be expected with age and use.
The price reflects itscondition.
This elegant liquor tag will make a lovely addition to any silver or barware collection.
The tag weighs approximately 0.77 troy ounces.
It is roughly 1.5” tall by 2.75” wide with a 6.75” chain.
