Hard to find pre 1920s unused early socks or stockings. They have wonderful brown-black geometric patterns on them. The feet measure 9.25" from back of heel to tip of toe. 5.75" flat across the very top of sock and 3" flat at the ankle of the sock. 23" from the top of the heel stitching to the top of the sock. Heel is 4" tall as there is a regular 2" heel and then an additional 2" support/thick piece above that. Stockings, socks, leggings... whatever you want to call this pair, they are great for antique mannequins, or reenactments. Early all original clothing made of organic fabric. I think they are cotton and silk but I can't do a burn test. There is a green stamp that reads B—-R Hosiery?? They came with over 30 pieces of early clothing, all from the same trunk, same time period, almost all hand sewn. You are buying these as is, with folds. The fabric is sturdy and well preserved.  Please look at all of the photos for a complete description.
