Affordable Binding Equipment
This is a new mini punching piercing cradle for
binding miniature books.
This is made from solid wood and measures 1-3/8" x 3-3/8" x 5" long.  The V is 3-1/2" long for 3" books and smaller.  There is a stop on one end to hold the loose pages lined up. There is a 1/8" opening at the bottom of the "V" for the punch to go through.   Comes with a piercing needle which is glued into a wood handle.
The paddle to line up the holes is made from aluminum and is drilled on 1/4" centers to give flexibility on how many holes you want to pierce and how far apart.  This paddle, when used correctly, will put the hole directly in the V of the fold.
Using this combination of cradle and needle, you will have very small holes in your signatures, which is what is needed in miniature books.
