    Description

Offered here is with FREE SHIPPING IN THE USA is a scarce and hard to find pair of charming handmade demitasse sized antique Dutch silver ( 826 -925 ) classic Rembrandt scene shot glass holders.
These are demitasse sized holders and were most likely used as shot glasses for medicines, apertifs, liqueurs, etc. I have also seen them called tipplers at times.
Both pieces depict an eye-catching rococo repousse design featuring delicate and well detailed people and animals in a classic Rembrandt style scene.
They date to circa 1910 ( 1900 - 1920 ) and both have worn and hard to read unresearched hallmarks.
The weight of one is approximately 12.6 grams while the other is approximately 11.9 grams for a combined weight of approximately 24.5 grams for the pair.
They're a true pair with the same design but handmade and will differ just slightly because of that - as evidenced by their weights.
They measure 1" TALL and 1 7/8" WIDE and will hold a 1 1/4" wide glass.
This pair is silver only and do not have glasses but that might create an opportunity for a fun treasure hunt of its own!
Both are in very good condition and show only very minor signs of wear including small surface scratches to the silver.
We never clean or polish our old silver and both are quite dirty, darkened and tarnished.
Polishing will be left to the buyer.
