The BioTek ELx50 Microplate Strip Washer is speedy and automated and uses an 8-channel manifold that both aspirates and dispenses.  This easy to use system allows for independent control of aspiration and dispensing manifolds used for overfilling along with overflow protection of 96 well microplates. The precision syringe pump of this plate washer ensures users get precise delivery and see reproducible results from wash to wash. From the control panel, users can set their dispense volume, flow rate, and height, as well as aspiration rates and depths giving a range from gentle washing to more vigorous ELISA prep. The intuitive menu-driven software creates and stores up to 75 programs, including wash, prime, dispense, and aspirate. The ELx50 also comes with predefined programs to make maintenance a breeze and keep the system running smoothly.  The system works well with solid bottom microplate plates traditionally used for cell-based and ELISA assays.
