Antique Wooden Kharal Opium Vessel - INDIA - 19th Century
Old and authentic wooden Kharal vessel from India.  19th century or older.  Used to mix Opium leaves with water or milk.  Carved from one piece of wood in the shape of a dragon or some sort of beast.   Small bronze pipe inserted for a spout.  Old repair to base, with small crack visible (see last three photos). Nice patina of age and use.
Please examine photos carefully for condition.
Purchased years ago from the estate of a missionary, this is part of my personal collection that I am selling to downsize. A really nice, old example!
