Alvin 9 1/2” Emerald Green Silver Overlay Decanter.
Stunning deep emerald green glass decanter with silver overlay.
9 1/2”H with 5” base.
Fancy cartouche with date: August 14 1902 and initials PMC.
Signed along bottom silver band:
999/1000 Fine, Alvin “A” mark, G ( for green glass) 110 PT, patented.
Silver neck and collar, ball stopper with # 0 etched, starburst bottom.
Lovely, extensive art nouveau design with vines and dogwood and lily of the valley blossoms.
Stopper has the same detailed design and no damage.
There are several small cracks in the neck which are very hard to see beneath the silver collar and overlay.
No other loss or damage and d
isplays beautifully from any angle/distance.
This is a gorgeous art nouveau decanter at least 119 years old.
