    Description

    Lovely sterling wine funnel made by Gorham with a date mark from 1888. The funnel does not have the screen and looks like a small loop has broken off at the top edge of the funnel. You can see what I’m talking about in picture 5. The funnel is beautifully repoussed and chased into a design of grape leaves and vines. The funnel is marked Gorham Sterling 40 and weighs 44 grams. The funnel measures 3-1/2 inches in diameter at the top and is 3-3/4 inches long. There are two dents which you can see in the pictures and the piece is also monogrammed, possibly MOC.
